Super Bowl Sunday

So here it is almost a year after my last post, and I would just like to say, I told you so. Rather I told me so, but I do want to be a better blogger, so why not jump back in with the Super Bowl. Nothing Better right?

Girlie Super Bowling

As a girl who truly loves football I am in a funny spot. Not many other girls have the passionate love for football that I do. Most of the time I'm okay with that, but it is days like today that I morn not having any close by girl friends who want to watch the game and not the commercials. See I don't talk during the game, unless I am talking about the game. The whole point of commercials was to give the spectator a chance to talk with out missing a second of the game right??  My mind often goes something like this;

"I really do care about what you have been pining on pinterest, but I wish you would quite talking to me about it on 3rd and 2. We can have this discusion during a commercial... Oh wait you want to watch the commercials???? But they never live up to their hype. Oh come on, that mischievous monkey is just a cheap gimmick. This is not that funny."

Don't get me wrong I do love watching the game with the guys, but I miss all my lady friends who tuned into the football game because they actually wanted to see a fantastic contest.

Football's Death Day
Though I do look forward to the Super Bowl every year, and I woke up today with a smile on my face like it was Christmas, I can't help but see today as the day the Football died. No more football until August!!!! How do we make it every year? Sure there is the draft, and it looks like Payton Manning and the Colts are going to give use a lot to talk about, but it's just not the same until the men are in their uni's playing a game that going to effect their season.

It is bad enough losing college football, but now it will be totally gone. I can expect my seasonal depression to set in this week. At least there is the band aid of March Madness.

Game Prediction
I'm going with the Patriots by less than 7. HEY! I heard that, lay off! They are my brothers team, and have been since the drafted in Terry Glenn. You don't remember that? That's because it was before that were any good and most people had forgot they existed.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday to All
and to All a Good Fight

  1. I'm glad your prediction was wrong. Sorry old man Terry Glenn, wherever you are.

    As I always say and rarely follow up on, I need a life update and we need to be friends sometime!!
